Who am I, and why choose me?

Hi, my name is Emma and I am an International Award Winning professional pet photographer living in the beautiful Far North Queensland Tropics of Cairns. I specialise in capturing beautiful outdoor portraits of your pets and make the most of Cairns’ stunning natural landscapes, including local parklands, beaches, and other scenic spots across the Cairns region and surrounding areas.

From spending 10 years working in retail to pursuing my passion of photography and animals has been one of the best decisions I have ever made!

After losing 2 of my best fur babies only a few months between each other back in 2020, I was devastated when I realized I had only a handful of photos on my phone of them, none of which were of high enough quality to print and put on my wall. So when my super special girl Ducky (Little Duck) came into my life, I swore I would capture every moment. Capturing every moment soon turned into a full blown obsession of photographing her, and it made me think about how many other pet owners out there would also love every moment captured of their special friends to keep forever, to print and put on their wall like I never got to do. So after what seems like a lifetime of study and learning all about the art of pet photography... Little Duck Pet Photography was born and I have been photographing pets ever since.
